Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America, known for its crystal-clear waters and majestic scenery.

Lake Tahoe is the third oldest permanent lake in the world and the largest alpine lake on the North American continent.
The Tahoe Blue Event Center was opened in 2023 and can seat up to 5000 event attendees. In 2024, Tahoe welcomed its first professional sports team, the Tahoe Knight Monsters, an ECHL Hockey Team.
The sun shines at Lake Tahoe 75% of the year, offering reliable weather for travel and great visibility.
Lake Tahoe has the largest concentration of alpine ski resorts in North America; South Shore resorts include Heavenly Ski Resort, Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort, and Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
